Evolution Mining–Mt Carlton
Reserve placed two rostered trainer/assessors onsite in the mining and processing/construction departments
for a period of nine months. The goal was to bring employees and contractors up to a competent standard and
obtain authorisation to operate ensuring the client’s compliance. Reserve developed the site’s training procedure and documentation for verification of competency and site authorisation.
A Skills Matrix was established and maintained throughout this period with the client retaining original competency documentation onsite.
Reserve supplied additional trainers to deliver heights, confined space, first aid, low voltage switchboard rescue
and supervisor training on an as need basis, working around the site’s rosters.
At contract completion Reserve had achieved competency and sign off for the majority of personnel onsite
with handover and professional development provided for the appointed training coordinator and site based
