2012 – Legacy Way Transcity JV
The development of the Legacy Way Tunnel Project required spoils from the tunnel operations to be delivered by conveyor to the Mt Coot-tha Quarry. Reserve Group undertook a stockpile study to develop the material placement design and selected suitable equipment for the construction of the stockpile to the required schedule and within site constraints.
2010 – Rio Tinto (Yarwun)
The Yarwun Alumina Refinery project was designed to double the plant’s output capacity and included the installation of a third wet mill and associated stockpile reclaim system. The new stockpile reclaims system would isolate 50% of the available plant feed stockpile capacity though the existing plant was using 100 % of the stockpile to manage the delivery of the bauxite from the mine. Reserve undertook a redesign of the stockpile operation and supplied a team of specialist stockpile dozer operators to manage this critical link in maintaining plant production during the expansion project.
